Thank you for your interest in visiting The Inn of Last Resort, It's a small, private resort run by a husband and wife team who own the resort, Andy and Donna Arcaya The resort offers spectacular diving and snorkeling, delicious food and plenty of individual attention.
The resort is located on the north shore of the island near the western end. All of the water surrounding the resort is part of the Northwest Marine Reserve, which protects the reef and animal life. The snorkeling and shore diving right from the resort are spectacular. Unlimited shore diving is included as part of the dive packages. They also have a wonderful lagoon, which is great for swimming and snorkeling or just watching a beautiful sunset or star gazing in the evening.

The nearest town is called West End. It's about a 5-minute drive from the resort. It's where the island's paved road ends and turns to sand. There are restaurants, bars, gift shops, dive shops, a grocery store, a pharmacy, a convenience store, and a few other businesses. It's scenic, particularly at sunset, and a nice place to walk around. From West End, you can take a water taxi (or a 30-minute walk) down to West Bay Beach -- easily the prettiest beach on the island. It has beautiful white sand, crystal clear water, swaying palm trees, exquisite underwater life -- just what you imagine a Caribbean beach to be.

Our dive package includes spacious rooms, which all have a queen size bed, or two twin beds, and have ceiling fans in addition to being air-conditioned. They serve three delicious meals daily on a fixed menu plan including complimentary snacks at 6:00 pm at the bar. They are happy to accommodate any special dietary needs. They do three boat dives daily, including a night and wreck dive, and offer unlimited shore diving. Tanks, weights, and weight belts are included; BC and regulator rentals, as well as Nitrox, are available at an additional charge. They also have a couple of specialty dives available at additional charge, such as a thrilling shark dive, a tranquil snorkel or dive with the dolphins. Being located in a marine reserve there is lots to see and the dive sites are so close to the resort that they generally come back for our surface intervals.
On Mondays, weather permitting, they take the boats and have a picnic at West Bay Beach, and on Thursday evenings a cookout is planned at the lagoon. The night
dive is normally on Tuesday night. Airport transfers and flight reconfirmations are also included in the package.
Our 8-day/7-night complete dive package is regularly $795 per person based on double occupancy. The package price does not include tax (16%), your bar tab, or staff gratuity.
