We break the Open Water class into three sections with three separate fees . The online course, a weekend of class review / pool training, and then to become certified you need to complete 4 open water dives. The open water dives can be done with us at Lake Sakakawea or while you are on vacations.

about Scuba One Travel
Founded in 1982, as a PADI 5 Star Dive Center, Scuba One Dive Center offers the full array of PADI diving courses right here in North Dakota. Founder Randy Kraft has a background of working in the Caribbean all-inclusive resorts, and Scuba One Travel is a full-service travel agency, working with the largest vacation suppliers, specializing in the tropics. Additionally, Randy is a pre-approved ND DOT underwater contractor with the state of North Dakota.

While many travel agents might emphasizing the number of times they have visited a particular country or resort, very few have actual experience working legally at any tropical locales. Scuba One Founder Randy Kraft worked in Jamaica running the watersport/scuba programs at what is now Sandals Dunn’s River and the current Moon Palace Jamaica.
Along with sponsoring and escorting groups to most every major destination in the Caribbean, we also have full Travel Agency credentials and first-hand actual experience working at Caribbean All-Inclusive Resorts
